Product Weights

All products are subject to a weight variation of ±5–10g per listed position, as some individual sweets are naturally heavier than others. Exact 100g weight cannot be guaranteed, but the total weight of your order will always be fulfilled as stated.

Substitutions & Out-of-Stock Items

If an item you have ordered is unavailable, we may substitute it with another product of similar type and value that already appears in your order. If a suitable substitution cannot be made, we will contact you to confirm whether you prefer a replacement, a refund, or an alternative solution.

Delivery Options

We work with trusted carriers including DPD UK and UPS. Delivery options are designed to provide flexibility for customers, including:

  • Delivery to your home address.

  • Delivery to a nominated safe place (where supported by the carrier).

  • Delivery to a local Access Point for collection.

All parcels must be accepted by you or a nominated representative aged 18 or over. A signature or delivery confirmation (such as driver photograph or electronic log) may be required.

If no one is available at the delivery address, a calling card will be left with instructions on how to rearrange delivery or collect from a local depot or access point.

Scottish Highlands, Islands & Remote Areas

The following areas/postcodes are classed as remote by our couriers and may incur higher shipping rates or longer delivery times: Isle of Wight, Isle of Man, Scilly Isles, Highlands (AB31–38, AB40–56, IV1–28, IV30–32, IV36, IV40–49, IV51–56, IV63, KW1–17, PA20–38, PA41–49, PA60–78, PH4–44, PH49–50, HS, ZE, KA27–28).

Additional transit days may be required for these areas.

Delivery Terms

  • All goods must be signed for (or otherwise confirmed accepted via courier procedure).

  • Redelivery charges apply at £5.99 if a parcel is returned due to failed delivery attempts and needs to be resent.

  • Delivery times may be affected by public/regional holidays, adverse weather, or other carrier disruptions.

  • While we aim for delivery within the specified timeframes, these are estimates and not guaranteed.

International Orders

Customs duties, import taxes, and charges imposed by destination countries are the responsibility of the recipient. These are not included in our prices. You must ensure that your parcel is compliant with the import regulations of the destination country.

Planet of Sweets is not responsible for delays at customs or charges applied by border authorities.

Lost or Stolen Parcels

Planet of Sweets is not liable for parcels lost or stolen after confirmed delivery. In such cases, please file a claim directly with the carrier and notify us so we can support your enquiry.

Processing Times

Orders are processed within 1–3 working days. We aim to dispatch same day where possible, but this cannot be guaranteed.

  • Orders placed Friday–Sunday will be dispatched the following Monday (excluding bank holidays).

  • Processing times are separate from delivery times.

Your Rights

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under UK law. As a consumer, you are entitled to:

  • A refund, replacement, or repair if goods are faulty, not as described, or not fit for purpose.

  • A right to cancel most online purchases within 14 days of receipt under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 (with the exception of certain perishable goods, which may be exempt).
